How do I RSVP?
- Graduates and Mentors of Graduates: Click here to RSVP by December 4, 2026. Graduates and their mentors will also receive a link to RSVP in their UFL.EDU emails.
- Other faculty and staff: You don’t need to RSVP to attend.
How will graduates be recognized?
- Dr. Bloom (Dean, COM Graduate Education) will announce each graduates’ name. Once their name has been called, their mentor (or another faculty representative as deemed appropriate by the Graduate) will stand to speak about the students’ time at UF. This could include research, achievements, personal anecdotes, etc. Graduates will receive a small gift from the College of Medicine Office of Graduate Education team. Graduates do not walk across a stage.
Will graduates receive diplomas at this Celebration?
- No. The Office of the University Registrar mails diplomas approximately eight weeks after graduation to the address entered on a student’s degree application. Find more information about diplomas here.
What should I wear?
- Business casual is encouraged for all attendees, including graduates, guests, and faculty and staff. Graduates are not required to wear regalia.
Where should I park?
- An email will be sent to graduating students with parking information closer to the date of the Celebration. The information will also be published here soon.
